koncupiscenceaargh... yahoo email was all wonky this weekend. i still haven't received emails that i know were sent days ago. *fist* however, now it appears to be working fine for new email, but not lj comments. *grumblegrumble* so... if anyone emailed me anything this weekend, i didn't get it.
not that i'm expecting anything, just that, well there's one thing that i definitely wouldn't want to miss - if it was sent. not that i'm expecting or waiting for it... just, you know, in case, if anything was sent... i didn't get anything. which is fine. i mean, if nothing was sent, it's fine. if it was sent, i want it, and that's not fine. just, you know... omg shut up!
in other news... 50 icons? not enough. it's like packing for a vacation. sure, you'll probably wear the same 10 things most of the time, but you still need to pack those strappy sandals, and that little dress, and the sweater, and the shorts and tanks, and what if it rains... i mean you just don't know what you'll need exactly, best to be prepared, right? i mean, sure, i hardly ever use the "fuck off" icon, so it's just taking up space, but... i like knowing that it's there, just in case.
in other icon news... look at me! GIP! i just figured out how to make icons using crappy Paint (because that's all i have). it's a crap icon, i know (skillz-wise, not subject-wise), but look at cute wittle baby!bhd!orli with the smile and the tongue! *tickles him omg* all i can do is shrink, cut, and crop so far. still working on adding text without it looking retarded. but hey! i found a new way to waste time and procrastinate. *dances*
ps, really digging on my new guster cd. yay for new music!

This icon was one I made with a crappy little photo program that came with my crappy little digtal camera last year. What is so great about it, is that I figured out how to cut and rotate the "!" into an "i" and made those basket ball fans look like fic fans! Yao!=yaoi(!)

I realize you've only seen chapters one and two; I haven't successfully wrangled the scenes of chapter three into something coherent yet. You wouldn't really be missing anything that would preclude you from understanding chapter 4, but I completely understand if you'd rather read them in order.
Having said that - dude, I need help with chapter three! Is there any way I could persuade you to have a look at the mess that it is now, and let me babble at you, and perhaps babble back to me?

Date: 2004-07-06 10:51 pm (UTC)...she said, waiting ever so patiently without any intent to pressure or nag, only as the most gentle reminder in case said fic was merely set aside and briefly forgotten as other interests crept up and claimed a higher priority, as often happens in life and is thoroughly understandable, though perhaps the overly zealous squee frightened the fic away, and if so, what really was meant by said squee was, "yeah, that's cool. whatever."

but seriously, it's okay if you've changed your mind. i just thought i'd check in and let you know that if you're still interested in sharing, that i am very much still interested in reading. but i'm good either way. <3
