last night i was extremely fortunate to get into a screening of 'brokeback mountain'.

omg.

so much better than i expected. i really can't stop thinking about it. i... as weepy and haunted as i feel, i'm also so elated that it was... what it was. and heath, ah man. i really didn't know he had it in him. i'm running on only about four hours of sleep and my first cup of coffee right now, so... lack of words, um, understatement. yeah. i'll just leave it at... \o/.

i hate to build up a movie too much before people see it, for fear that they'll walk away disappointed - so keep in mind that i went in with really *low* expectations, expectations of being thoroughly disappointed. but i was not. at all. <3 omg.

Oh, I've had ridiculous expectations on this film as soon as I heard Ang Lee was directing it. And that was BEFORE they even cast Jake OR Heath. I've been following this film long time. *nods*

It better break my heart the way the short story did, that's all I'm saying. *g*
