1. what was your favorite childhood game or toy?
i played a lot of make-believe with my friend lisa as a child, usually in the backyard, running around and climbing trees, maybe rollerskating. one of our favorite games was to play Space Times with our jenny dolls (they were somewhat similar to barbies - but without the ridiculous body proportions and they were generally brunette, or at least ours were). we would go out into the backyard, which became Some Other Planet, and we would sit our doll in one of our shoes, their Spacecraft, and fly around. whooOOOooosh. then we'd land somewhere in the yard and make a home for them under some plant next to a rock. and... i don't know what else exactly, but we would play this game for hours.
2. what un-attained life goal have you had for the longest?
oh god. the truth is so damn truthful, i almost don't want to say. but, fuck it. the one thing i've always wished for when given the opportunity (shooting star, blowing out birthday candles, driving through a tunnel, penny in a fountain, etc) was someone to fall in love with, who would love me back. ugh ugh. i made A Decision to stop wishing for this two years ago. i still slip up on occasion.
3. where do you see yourself in three years?
hopefully still working for the family business. living in My Own Home somewhere in pasadena or the surrounding area. with a cat. definitely with a cat. it would be nice to have someone special in my life, but WHATEVER. i'm BREEZY.
4. which song do you love the most right now?
i'm kind of all over fob's hum hallelujah. also the second half of the take over, the breaks over (from the first 'we do it in the dark' on). and pretty much everything from the black parade. yis.
5. what's your dream vacation?
a hut, or something a little less rustic with a little more indoor plumbing, on a secluded beach somewhere. the overcast mornings, sitting in a chair on the sand, watching the waves, wrapped in a blanket and clinging to my coffee. afternoon naps, warmed by the sun and cooled by the ocean breeze, the waves lulling me in and out of dreamtimes. cuddles and kisses by the crackling fire pit. stars. lots and lots of stars. crashing waves in the distance. and maybe a nice cold beer.
