i'm not sure if i'll actually come back here on a regular basis. i'd like to, but i've been saying that for a while now and haven't, so... we'll see! but i've been thinking about what might help facilitate me coming back, or what might be holding me back from posting more often. there are certainly a few reasons, but one of them, and likely the easiest to fix, is that my flist is 80% communities i no longer have an interest in.

i think it's time for an overhaul. regroup. clean house. start anew. etc etc.

i'm sort of craving a smaller circle now, and i'll likely flock most posts. i'm going to clean out old comms and abandoned journals. i don't imagine this being an issue, but if i drop anyone that wants back in, just give a shout out. and, of course, if anyone wants to bow out of my yammering, feel free, no hard feelings. <3

Hi - I know that I don't know you that well, to say the least, but I totally agree - - re: communities. Also so many ppl have left and gone - to facebook? I suppose. I still like the format, here, and am staying, I guess. lol Guess that was apropos of nothing, but there you go. :)

yeah, i've definitely noticed a fair number of people migrating over to facebook. i wish i liked it over there, but it still hasn't grown on me. i keep thinking i should give it another go, but we'll see.

for now, i still prefer the anonymity that this corner of the internet provides. and yet it's anonymity rooted in a sense of friendship and community. it's a safe space. i don't how best to describe it, but i have a feeling you, and every other LJ user, understands what i mean. ;)

I think you'll feel more comfy after you clean out old stuff. I know what you mean - it's my safe space too.

i cleaned out a fair bit on friday and felt worlds better for it. <3
