wearing: white low-rise boy-cut undies and a burgundy lacy bra. which i think brilliantly displays both my casual tomboyishness along with my need to be girly.
hair: down, wavy, still slightly damp.
makeup: cherry chapstick.
ate today: coffee and water. really should get on that.
thing last said: singing along with beth orton, does that count? "it will pass in time, it will pass in time, it will pass..."
last phone call: tuesday with roommate about the concert. two whole days without speaking on the phone, i am the screening mastah!
in your bag: wallet, metrocard, subway map for emergencies, gum, small flashlight, assortment of lipsticks and glosses, small mirror, discman, and "fire from heaven" by mary renault.
playing on your iPod: don't have one, but am currently listening to disc 1 of beth orton's 'pass in time'.

I need: financial security. someone to snuggle with.

thinking about: how i'm usually an incredibly optimistic happy person (even to a fault) and how the last two days i've been anything but, and it is completely throwing me off. unfamiliar territory. i don't like it. i want my sunshiney bliss back please.
current annoyance: just myself.
current obsession: always orlando. black hawk down fic. rufus. possibly ben folds. possibly mary renault. still looking into both of those, but i like i what i see so far.
i never cease to amuse myself. i often use this icon for more "serious" posts or comments. because clearly a close-up of lij's foot and hand = more somber, thoughtful, introspective feelings - as opposed to the other shoe icons i have. *eyeroll* only i would see different emotions being expressed from a sneaker.
