they pretty much killed it tonight. they sounded AMAZING, and they wore their KILLJOYS COSTUMES which i was not expecting. /o/

i saw them last weekend in anaheim, after which i promptly got sick sick sick and had to sit out the san diego show this past thursday. it was a dark day. and while i'm still not 100%, there was no way in hell i was missing my chem at the fucking HOLLYWOOD BOWL. it's an odd venue. a GREAT venue, but an odd one (imo) for a rock show. it's all seats, no pit, and so no matter where your tickets are, you're not close. not by our fangirl standards, at least.


yep. a slightly different experience, this one. but on the upside it's outdoors and gorgeous, especially on warm evenings like tonight (it was 85 today, guys :|). and you know, HOORAY FOR ZOOM LENSES & JUMBO TRONS. :D

as with the reading show, james came out wearing the mousekat head, but it soon took up residence on the post. (and though i don't have a picture of it, ray came out wearing aviators and he was smokin' hot. omg.)






both gerard and dewees seemed to have freshly dyed hair. i am oddly touched that they would do that considering it's their last show and it likely doesn't matter what they look like tomorrow. (secretly, i hope it was because they were filming tonight and we'll get a dvd in the future. i mean, probably not, but a girl can dream.)

i think these next ones were during helena and they were going OFF. i don't think i've ever seen ray toro thrash around so much (though in fairness, that could be because i'm usually parked on frank's side).







SO MANY ♥. plus a few extra. ♥ ♥ ♥

i pretty much love this band. i can't wait to see them again. and again. and again. but in the meantime they've got some well-deserved time off coming their way, which i hope they actually take. (though i sure wouldn't say no to some new comics. :D? :D?)

KRIT KRIT KRIT. I'm so glad that they were Killjoys for you tonight! That's just extra special, as far as I'm concerned, because they didn't do it nearly as often in either tour as I thought they would. And I'm so glad that you were well enough to go! \o/

even far far away from them, we could definitely still feel their energy, i only hope that they were able to get some of that back from us. i imagine large venues like that, with no thrashing pit in front of you, are tricky.
