this, one of the funniest sites i've visited in a long time, reports on the fuglyness running rampant in hollywood today, ie ben's bloating and the horror that is courtney love. :D

also recommended? stewardess_lotr's black hawk down fic, but only! only if you have the time and energy to be completely consumed and have your brain invaded. i decided to casually read a few, and it was a bumpy start for me, but before i realized what was happening, i was completely taken, wrapped up in the angst and the sex (oh god, the sex), even dreaming about hoot/todd. and now i cling desperately to four little lines from a two and a half hour movie - oh, the insanity!

but! i must find a way to break free from hoot, just for a little while because the wonderful people at lotr_speakeasy keep posting new installments and i'm not caught up yet!!! one day i'll do a proper post about the speakeasy (i'm terrible with giving timely and proper feedback), but there's really something for everyone over there. OMG GO READ IT NOW!! i went for orlando/josh, but then quickly also found viggo, billy, franka, elijah, cate, dom, keira and OMG it's ALL good!!1

also recently stumbled across some good jude/ewan, by helens78, here and here. i LOVE this pair and don't often find them, though admittedly, i haven't gone looking for them either as i've been a bit pre-occupied with all things orlando. but it's also quite tasty when there's a little jonny lee miller thrown in. *pervs over the pretty natural nylon boys* *wonders whatever happened to femgeeks.net* anybody know?

also? added three new hootastic items to my interests today. i know, i know... *puts down the bhd fic and backs away slowly* ...nah. *runs off to blackhawk_fic instead* wheeee! >:)

and six feet under last night? what the hell was that? o_O never need to watch that episode again. and qaf? *sigh* i will always watch, but... a person can only take so much cheese. i would care more about these characters if their dialogue wasn't so damn corny lately. *hopes next season is better*

did you know kyuuketsukirui writes a lot of jude/ewan, too? you can prob. find it on her website. She has a writing partner, whose name i don't know, who writes jude in the establishment over on journalfen. she writes ewan. it's hot but with a high kink factor.

um... yes. *nods* she created a monster. but, it's not entirely her fault, much of the blame lies with orlando and eric! i never thought much of the pairing until cannes, and then... oof. they just... fit.


but personally, now that i'm done with that saga, i'm looking forward to reading some eversmann fic (and getting caught up at the speakeasy, i'm so behind!), and i know just where to find it! <333

i've been to the stash out here, in red bank, NJ, and it's awesome - lots of great merch, comics of course, jay & bob stuff... but the best part is all the memorabilia - random props and whatnot from the films - lots o fun! :D

yes, that is an amazing link, so very helpful! i started reading at the speakeasy before i found the timeline, however, so i'm sticking to my original plan of attack for now... i went to the calendar and just started reading with the very first post. and thankfully y'all put "just after this"-type headers on each post where applicable. so i just keep going back, til there are no more "just after this"'s, and then i start reading, working my way forward again, lather, rinse, repeat.

i think that sounded more confusing than it actually is. anyhow, this way, i'll be sure not to miss anything - i hope. :/ so far, it's working well. :) but the timeline is uber helpful to mentally keep things in order - timewise - big ups to brenda! and i seriously have enjoyed everything i've read over there - you all are amazing! <333
