that meme thing:
My journal name is: currently (because it changes periodically) "i just blue myself". this would be a line from the tv show arrested development which cracked me up to no end. the character tobias, played by david cross, painted himself blue in order to try out for the blue man group. guess you had to be there.
My journal title is: Fuck Me Chucks. just a take on the phrase "fuck me pumps" (also known as "hooker pumps"). and see... i sorta like chucks (converse), so... yeah.
My subtitle is: sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. because it's true.
My friends-page is called: All Stars. because y'all are. <3 and it keeps with the converse theme.
My user name is: koncupiscence. correctly spelled, with a c, this would be a line from one of my all-time favorite movies, threesome. and since at the time my LJ life revolved around slash and teh pr0n, the word was also fitting. but it was already taken, correctly spelled, so i swapped the c for a k and voila. (and my first name starts with a k so, yeah. it works.)
My default icon is: elijah's feet. which are in chucks. as are mine most of the time. (you may notice that i have several icons of elijah's feet. this is not so much because the feet are elijah's as much as his are the only lotr feet that are often in chucks. trust me, if dom and orlando wore them more often (*cries at their unfortunate footwear choices*) things would be different.)
and remember that quiz thing (seems like eons ago, don't it)? here be some thoughts on that.
first, *omgheaddesk* it's incredibly clear that OMG comes out of my mouth (and fingers) far. too. often. as almost everyone answered this one correctly. must work on that. but i can't promise anything.
and second, OMG I KNEW IT! i had a feeling there's been a severe lack of orlando in my journal as of late. so much so that people don't even know that he's my boyfriend anymore (DOM. was the clear winner). *weeps* i attribute this to three things. 1) i wrote DOM.'s name as DOM. on the quiz and therefore it seemed to scream PICK ME PICK ME! but that's just how his name is written in my mind. DOM. (blame piccalo). 2) orlando hasn't really done much lately to flail about in my LJ. the only news items that pop up are paparazzi photos of him and kate, and no. just no. (that's not a no because of kate, she doesn't bother me. that's a no because of the paparazzi. i fucking hate those fucking bastards.) whereas DOM. now has LOST and there have been many YAY LOSTFEST! mentions here recently. and 3) i think for whatever reason, it's more socially acceptable to fangirl DOM. he's kind of the one common denominator between us all, the one thing many people can agree on. so there has been more DOM. squee and less orlando gushing. but i hereby resolve to make this area more orlandish. because, in my eyes, that's always a good thing. <3

as far as fic goes, yes, i started on this journey with aragorn/legolas which quickly became viggo/orlando. <333 it really was a long time before i even considered reading other pairings. but now, i very much enjoy exploring new worlds. and i found it very amusing that many people chose woodcest as the pairing that doesn't usually do it for me. =D i am actually quite fond of the woodcest. *blush* sadly, it's the monaboyd that doesn't quite rock my socks. which is unfortunate, for me, because there are so many amazing writers out there whose primary focus is dom/billy. i've read some, and it's well written, and i see their point, but... *shrug* it seems like most people prefer one camp or the other, and what can i say, i'm a domlijah girl.
i'll skip the rest of the questions because they don't really need much explanation and finish up with my threesome pimp. i was incredibly impressed that a few people answered this question correctly (where does my user name come from?). if you have not yet seen this film, i highly recommend it. i know, i know. you're thinking, "lara flynn boyle? she's a skeleton with skin." yes, but back then she was still digesting food, at least a little bit. "but stephen baldwin? he's a moron." yes, but it really works for this film, and you'll find him rather endearing by the end. "ooh, josh charles? yum." yes. and yes. the three of them have such great on-screen chemistry. their relationship seems natural, real, and their witty dialogue doesn't read as contrived or scripted. the film is funny, sexy, and has some classic lines. and there's this tiny moment toward the end, this small gesture, that has always made my heart swell. i saw it in college and it instantly became a part of me. i related to much of it then, and i still do today. it may not be for everyone, and i've probably built it up too much, but i have seen it countless times and... i just adore it. it cracks me up, it turns me on, it breaks my heart. rent it.

Is this in the deleted scenes of the dvd?

but lemme esplain. i fell in love with this movie in 1994. i had no internet all those years ago and knew nothing of fandom, no gossip or rumors or spoilers to be had. i had no dvds, no extras, outtakes, or deleted scenes. i took movies for what they were. as is. i bought the vhs as soon as i could and believe me, it is worn. out.
and since then, it just never occurred to me to buy the dvd as i already had it on tape. (also, i'm thinking perhaps there are no extras on the dvd, and that's why i never bothered purchasing it. sadly, it seems older movies get overlooked when released on dvd and their bonus features consist of subtitles and menus! woohoo. but i am certainly going to look into it now!)
it is true, there is almost no boy on boy action in the movie, just one teeny weeny gesture. and then the audience can fill in the rest (or not, whichever you prefer). i am very very interested in finding out what stephen baldwin said about those scenes. and the more i think about it, it's kind of a surprising role for him to take on (isn't he a born again christian now?)
now i wanna go watch it! but perhaps i'll do a bit of googling first. ;)
