Got the tv guide today and the cover is "Oscar's Year of the Hunks" (yes, cheeseball) and then there are pictures of the three said Hunks: Viggo, Orlando, and Johnny Depp, sweet! (Apparently it's the Brooklyn/Queens edition, so I have no idea what cover everyone else has.) And while, sure, hey, yeah, I think they're "hunky", absolutely, it cracks me up that Orlando made the cover. At least Johnny is nominated for his movie, and okay, there were no acting noms for LotR, but most people associate the movie with either Frodo or Aragorn, so sure putting Viggo on the cover makes sense, he was the King that Returned. But Orlando? I love the guy, but his role was so small in RotK, and I don't think the movie as a whole got nominated on account of him. Really, there were no other Oscar hunks to choose from? Let's see... *looks at list of nominations* Okay, fine, most of them you wouldn't necessarily call "hunky", except maybe for Jude fucking Law! Hello tv guide?!
