Random Observations
Mar. 4th, 2004 10:42 am1. I am not dealing with unemployment very well. Or maybe I'm dealing with it too well. A girl could get used to this.
2. I am addicted to LJ. I think about it all the time. I don't post so much, but I'm addicted to reading other people's posts. I either a) spend most of the day in front of the computer like a crack addict, or b) stay far away from thecrack computer for an entire day or two and get back to RL. But that never really works, because then when I do get online, I just sit and read every entry that I missed for the last few days which can take hours, hours that I'll gladly give up to sit here and smoke more crack. Moderation is key, must work on that.
3. I have enough clothes to go two whole months without doing laundry.
4. Now that I've been knitting, I find myself checking out strangers' hats, scarves, and sweaters on the subway to see what stitch was used, what size and type of yarn, how the edges were finished off, etc. So if some freakazoid is staring at you on the train, that's just me, trying to figure out the knit to purl ratio of your hat.
5. Ryan Seacrest is a complete tool.
6. the user info for
craftgrrl states that it's a high traffic community, and boy they weren't kidding. O.o yikes... bikes!
7. I have rightclicksaved more pictures in the last month than I care to admit. It started out with a few Orli ones, just a small sample of my favorites. And now... ooh that's a good one, oh I like that, guh, thud, ooh the domlijah, pretty viggo, squee... I am way too old for this shit.
ETA: Unemployment + LJ Obsession = A Diversion! *enter tired captain obvious joke here*
