Oct. 30th, 2004 08:32 pmi had a long "work = blargh" post planned, but thankfully, for you, i've decided against that (at least, for now). i just spent two hours picking out colorful yarn (half for me and half for potential christmas gifts) and a laughable amount of time on the subway coming home. i think my subway pass might need to be revoked, or at least there should be some sort of restriction where i am not allowed to ride the train without supervision. today, for the third time in the past two weeks, i completely missed my stop. but that's not all. the laughable part is that the downtown train (that i originally needed) was running express and wasn't stopping at the "yarn store" stop (where i was). so i already had to head uptown and then cross over to the other track to head downtown (toward home). but then i missed my stop because i was on mars. and the train was running express. so by the time i came back to earth i was in farking BFE. so i got off at the "BFE" stop, crossed over to the other track and headed back uptown one more time. only the uptown train wasn't running express so we stopped at every. freaking. stop. not to mention that i purposely walked toward the back of the train, because that's where i need to be when exiting at my stop, but wasn't thinking clearly enough to realize that i was coming from the opposite direction than i normally do, so i actually needed to be at the front of the train. it was at this point that i literally did a *FACEPALM* as i walked to the opposite end of the platform.
but now i am home. and it's time for a hot cup o' tea, a good movie, and some knitting. which project to start on first... *big gleeful eyes*
also, does anyone know if
woodcest is coming back? *pouts and cries*
