good news: i found a friend! :D one that is able and willing to go to vegas with me to see mcr tomorrow, that is (even though he has no idea who they are). i'm still trying not to get too excited, because the show is still a day and a half away, and who knows what could happen between now and then, but... *fingers crossed* as 're-payment', i went with him to his friend's b-day party last night - which was a white party. i'm sorry, what? i have to wear all white? o_O needless to say, I HAD NOTHING TO WEAR. a black party? no problemo. but WHITE? uhh... i had 45 minutes to scramble. h&m for the win (and hooray for pants i'll likely never wear again). srsly, white clothes? i look at them and they get dirty.
bad news: i still don't have my PRE-ORDERED deluxe edition panic at the disco cd/dvd thing. the new album came out tuesday. what the shit? i am a patient person by nature, but COME ON. fueled by ramen store, you suck.
other:
i finally saw casino royale last week. DANIEL CRAIG, MY GOD. \o/
i went to the theatre thursday and saw sweeney todd. it was okay, i think. i don't know. i was really tired and was pining for my bed, so mostly i just wanted them to get on with the killings so i could go home. i would like to see the movie, though, and see what johnny depp did with the role (our guy was pretty bland - but he was the stand in).
i hate how all week i think of things to post, but then the weekend comes and i'm all ....
at last night's white party, i was reminded how much i dislike the whole LA bar/club scene. big hair, big boobs, little clothes, little character. it's not as much fun going out when you look around a crowded room and think there's not one person here that i would be remotely interested in. uuugh.

overloved in less than a week! (mcr, maybe, in 32 hours - no jinxing.) i just got the angel box set! it sits lovingly next to my buffy box set. maybe i'll watch some today. <33 but first, the usual flist catch-up. hi, all! happy weekend. :)
