lotms, take me away

& i had a dream last night that i woke up and there was snow on the ground outside. it was amazing and delightfully brisk and i ran up and down the street smiling in wonderment. I WAS SO HAPPY. and then i really woke up, realized it was all untrue, and made this face. =\ i am so over summer.

& i attempted to make guacamole last night but my avocado was nowhere near ready. DENIED.

& why so disappointing lately, life?!

& now for the good: my toenails are painted aqua! today is friday! boozing is on the horizon! my thegaystarfish book came in the mail! all YOUR faces! i'm overly caffeinated! CAN YOU TELL?!?

& as i was driving to work monday morning, i spotted the HUGEST bird flying across the street. i was pretty sure i knew what it was, but i watched it land to be sure. and yep, peacock! and not just one, but FOUR PEACOCKS ON A ROOF. i quickly swerved over to the curb and took a picture. ( sadly, it didn't come out so well. )

but still. PEACOCKS! ON A ROOF! :D if only every week started off with giant magical birds in unexpected places.
