two years ago today...

...was a pretty great day. mikeyway was kind of scorching and gerard had those hilariously stupid Woops I Cut My Own Bangs bangs. i was with dear friends and little did i know, there was another soon-to-be amazing friend down in the pit (though we wouldn't actually meet for another month). my heart nearly burst out of my chest, and i wanted to cry when helena started, bc i knew it really was the last song (and quite possibly the last last song. ;_;). i was and will always be so thankful that i was able to be there that night. it felt special.

in short: we had a time. ♥

I so wish I could have been there. I was living in Seattle at the time and a friend and I were trying to come up with ways to buy tickets and fly out, but we just couldn't.

i remember the day i bought tickets and thinking am i crazy? i'm crazy, this is crazy, but... i have to, right? i think i have to. this is crazy! thankfully, i had a friend in nyc to stay with - the only way it was made possible for me.

Also, while I was packing I found a photo from that fangirl lunch at the noodle place in Union Square in like, 2005? I don't even remember who half the people in the photo are, but you're there! If I come across it again while UNpacking, I'll bring it to work so I can scan it. :)

oh, that's right! i have that photo... somewhere... i think the only person i knew was shellies. and sparcck i had met before at other fan gatherings. congrats on moving, btw! it's always such a chore, but the reward will be amazing! \o/
