1. Leave me a comment saying, 'Interview me'.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
warning: as i'm leaving work shortly, i won't be able to leave any questions until later this evening. but i will! i mean, if you want. :D
questions from
slightlytricky:
1. You've just been informed that NYC is closing for repairs and you have to be out in the next 5 minutes. What do you pack in your overnight bag?
bah! but i'm at work, no comforts of home. so... i'll grab my bag, my coat, as much porn as i can print in 5 minutes, and i'll be good to go... somewhere.
2. Who was your hero growing up and is that person still it?
um, hero? that's a tricky one. i don't think i really had one of those - i mean, no one tangible, that i knew. though, harrison ford certainly embodied the word hero for me. han solo, indiana. *sigh* yes, i wanted him to be my hero.
i have no idea who my hero is today... must ponder that.
3. Orlando just moved in next door. How do you welcome him to the neighborhood?
well, first i pretend that, silly me, i locked myself out and my roommate won't be home for another hour. he, being the gentleman that he is, invites me in to wait and offers me a beer as we begin the small talk. an hour and three beers later, still no roommate in sight, i offer to help him unpack some boxes. we start in the kitchen with the dishes and utensils then move on to the box of cds which spawns much enthusiastic discussion and debate over musical tastes which ends with him loaning me some of his favorites. eventually, the jig is up-- i mean, the roommate comes home. so i thank him for the beer, the cds and the company and invite him to knock or holler if he ever needs anything. anything. a week later i return the cds with an invitation to dinner. ♥
4. Is it Orange or Tangerine?
orange. pretty much any shade of orange. which i guess would include tangerine. so, yes.
5. When was the last time you smiled at a stranger?
i'd like to say this is new york, we don't do that. alas, wednesday i smiled at everyone, couldn't stop to save me life.
