also also, king kong tonight! rawr.

lastly, tried to see brokeback this past friday at a theater that was playing it on two screens, but when we arrived at 5:00, it was already sold out for the entire night. WOE, but also, HUZZAH. went back saturday night (with tickets purchased that morning online), and yet again both screens were sold out for the night. HOORAY NEW YORKERS I HART U. s'old news by now, but brokeback had an excellent opening weekend for its limited release. happy happy joy joy.

Saw it tonight in Chelsea and it's good we got tickets a couple of hours before it started - theater was PACKED (we had to sit close and off to one side). Lots of sniffling at the end. meep. Still good. But maybe actually not such a good idea to see it with S, it turned out. I was still all emotional - including in that connecting-it-to-my-own-life way - and she just wasn't and so. blegh. :(
