i was playing This Time Last Year and checking out my archives to see if march 2006 was as wretched as march 2007, when, horror of horrors, i discovered i completely missed your birthday this year. :O i'm so sorry, darlin'. as you know, RL crap got pretty intense last month and i've been fairly absent from LJ for a while now, but still. i feel bad for missing it. :( i hope it was lovely, babe, and filled with many delicious treats.

to make it up to you, i bring you a story and some spam.

some time ago, i was scrolling through hires_hotties and spotted two thumbnails of someone named rashida jones. who is rashida jones, i said, because she is hot. cut to me clicking on said thumbnails to discover that miss jones is none other than karen from the office. :O omg, i'm so sorry, pam, i didn't mean it! srsly, i felt kind of bad for a few minutes. but then i rightclicksaved anyhow. :D

The sad thing is, I sort of don't want her to leave now! But leave she must, as I know. Still. If you look on YouTube for the video for "Be Gentle With Me", she's in it. It's also a really cute video, and a very good song. At one point? A puppet stuffed rabbit beats a drum in a manner I very much approve of. It's great.

i wish they didn't make her so damn likable, you know? i think even pam likes her - or she would if she wasn't dating her man, anyhow. so yes, go away she must.

but sometimes i think about your karen/pam ficlet and it makes me smile, and for a moment i wonder which one pam's more jealous of. and then i want there to be more office fic. :)
