+ i saw pineapple express this weekend. good times! and actually, surprisingly kind of touching in some scenes? if it were a fannish type movie, there would no doubt be fic. alas, i don't know if there's much of a call for seth rogan/james franco. our loss.

+ amusing bandom conversations with non-bandom people:

me: look, one of my bands is in entertainment weekly!
bro: is that a girl?
me: no, they're all boys.
bro: really? i mean, come on, you have to admit...
me: yes, william beckett looks like a girl.

srsly, though, in my fretting over the term emo, that caption totally annoyed me. they're all dressed in bright colors, william is smiling his face off, they're 'going for an 80s teen movie vibe' and yet they're called an 'emo band.' WTF does that meeean?

yeah, seeing them described as an emo band took me by surprise at first, but then i figured anyone in skinny jeans who is remotely associated with pete wentz will get labeled emo, so. SHRUG.

and thanks! i keep wanting to upload more and more, but i'm still having such a hard time letting go of my old (mostly lotrips) ones.

Thank-you dearest! I had a very nice, relaxing day and then Tricky took me out for a nice dinner at a new restaurant. Yay!

pineapple express was more violent than i had expected, though not incredibly bloody; it veered more on the over the top, ridiculous side. and i knew what to expect from seth rogan, but james franco really surprised me! overall, an enjoyable movie experience. :D
