there is too much fic to read.
there are too many books to read.
there are too many comics to read.
there are too many movies to see.
there are too many tv shows to watch.
there are too many blog posts to read and/or write.
there are too many pictures to find and save.
there is too much music to listen to.

does this ever weigh on you, too? do you feel overwhelmed by how you'll never, ever be anywhere near 'caught up?' do you fantasize about reading every book in the library? or watching every dvd on the shelf? starting at one end on not stopping until you've seen/read them all? sigh, an impossible dream.

why is there not more time?

why is work.

i'm so behind.

it's funny, bc as much as it stresses me out sometimes (and it does), i'll still waste hours upon hours re-watching buffy or firefly or harry potter.

AH WELL. THERE ARE WORSE PROBLEMS TO HAVE.

that's how i am with music. like, i could listen to new artists, hoping to find something awesome OR i could listen to what i already love.

ALWAYS.

My sister's wife, who is about my age, finally decided that she's only going to read/watch what really grabs her attention, because there's just not enough time to get to everything, and life only gets shorter. So, if it doesn't do it for her in the first dozen pages/15 minutes, she gives up and goes on to the next thing. I'm starting to see the wisdom in that...
