pedicone is out. i feel like i should be angry, but i'm just so confused about the whole thing, i can't seem to get there. mostly i just want to throw up and then cry a little.

what unsettles me most is the finality of frank's post. "We just want him out of our lives." i just keep thinking... i mean, i can't help but wonder, what the fuck happened?! because if it was just a bit of money, or some kind of 'misunderstanding,' i can see them getting upset and needing pedicone to leave the band, but to end EVERYTHING? to go from one of the best nights of their lives to never wanting anything to do with pedicone ever again. i just... i don't even know. what the fuck did he do. :|

and that there were police and confessions, and that frank TOLD us that. they don't tell us shit! usually. it's all so strange and out of character and... jesus, what the fuck happened.

i hate it when friendships end. like, hate hate hate. for me it's one of the worst things ever.

same here, frank. obviously to a much lesser degree, because we weren't the ones he took advantage of, we weren't best friends with the dude, we didn't welcome him into our family (except how we did), but still. same here, frank.

eta: basically, this: i can't imagine them cutting off all ties, especially publicly like that, unless it was something really, REALLY bad. but i can't imagine pedicone knowingly doing something really, REALLY bad. so i just don't know what to think. i just feel sad. for everyone.

Ditto to your entire post. It sucks really bad for us, but it sucks so bad for them. They - especially Frank and Pedicone - were close friends for YEARS. It's baffling and sad and upsetting, especially with the timing so close to Reading and Leeds. It fucking blows.

i still have a hard time believing pedicone could do something so awful (even though i barely know anything about the guy), but clearly. clearly, he did.

ugh, it's just all so upsetting. :( and to have happened just after the emotional high of reading and leeds, makes it an even more devastating blow. :(

I keep trying to come up with a scenario that would lead to this situation, and I'm coming up blank. If it was just petty cash, the whole "want him out of our lives" thing doesn't make sense. It had to have been something pretty terrible, and my brain just can't fill in the blanks. It's frustrating, but mostly it's all just really, really sad. :/

exactly exactly all of that. on twitter pedicone said he made a mistake, and that it was complicated. and yeah, every plausible explanation i can come up with ends with the guys saying, "dude, that's not cool," and sending him packing with blog post about how due to recent events, pedicone will no longer be drumming for them, but they wish him continued success in his future endeavors.

but this was so not that. :\
