i am not a franka girl. i mean, sure after i saw run, lola, run i was for a bit. the red hair. the running. but it didn't last long. and bourne identity? sure, fine, whatever. didn't do much for me. and try seventeen/all i want? wretched film. actually really disliked her in it. one of these days i'll post my review of the film, but i keep hesitating because i have very few good things to say about it. but that's not the point here.

the point is... franka. meh. whatever.

there are some other great photos of her at that site, but the ones from this photo-shoot are by far my favorites. i prefer her looking more natural - not only her poses, but also her hair color. the yellowy blond doesn't really interest me much. but THESE photos *points above* ...i will have to rethink this franka situation. =)

She looks *amazing* in these, doens't she? You're right about the natural look for her; the fakey stuff isn't on. I've always had a niggling little love for her, even when I was madly jealous about Elijah. These have fanned it inot full-blown admiration. Thank you!

i still cannot get over how much i love these photos. it's interesting how i'm so into these pics, but the blond ones do nothing for me. ick. i mean, style-wise, they're great photographs, but as far as franka goes, no. but these. *smiles dreamily*

i think another reason i adore these photos is because she reminds me of a modern day norma jean (pre-bombshell marilyn monroe). the hair color, the natural make-up with darkened lips. (i have many marilyn books, and my favorite photos of her are when she was still norma jean.) anyhow...

i never had that jealously thing in regards to elijah - mostly because i never really bought it, that relationship. i'm thinking friends, good friends. however... you do recognize her shirt, yeah? hmm....

I *think* that's what it says. All my German has deserted me in disgust upon finding I still can't wrap my head around adjective endings. My French has happily reinstated itself.

mais oui, moi aussi! eh... que tu est tres belle et la "coucher" chose. je comprendre un petit peu le francais et l'espanol, comme... "ou est la toillette?" et/y "donde esta el bano (avec un ~ *fist*)?"

et mon favorite... "la souris et sous la table, la chat est sur la chaise, et le singe est dans la branche." ou, meilleur... "(blah blah souris, chat) ...et le singe est-- *looks about* ou est le singe?" alors le singe est sur la bicyclette, etc. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

eek! did not mean to frighten you with the foreign speak. *pets* i had three years of spanish in high school and two years of french in college and now i continually mix them up. gracias, mon amie. de rien, amigo! :p

what cracks me up about my comment above (because i always manage to crack myself up, if no one else), is that when i re-read it, i read the *fist* part still with an accent and it comes out *feest*. =)

and the crazy middle french part is from eddie izzard - not sure if you're familiar with the funniest executive transvestite comedian that ever lived - but he is fabulous.
