koncupiscenceHave not been very productive today... what is my problem... why is it so damn hard... I really am procrastination's bitch...
On the up side, I watched the cast commentary of FotR today, yay! Now I finally know what tig is all about, f-ing hysterical, poor Lij. Another great moment, Dom and Billy's simultaneous mmm's, cute. And it was nice to hear more out of Orlando, he doesn't say much on TTT:EE. I get the impression as the years have gone on that he is far more self-conscious in regards to what he says (how he dresses, acts, etc). As much as he is loved, he is also endlessly ridiculed. I can't even begin to imagine what that kind of attention does to your mind and soul. Sadly, his carefree intoxicating ways seem to have diminished a bit as of late, and least for the public's consumption (we can be greedy). Hopefully he has been able to find a sort of safe haven in which to hold on to himself (no pun intended... damn, now with the dirty thoughts, nnnggh). Likewise, it never ceases to amaze me that Elijah is still so incredibly giving to the public with numerous public appearances (does the boy ever say no?), seemingly genuine interviews, answering the same questions over and over and over, and appearing to genuinely enjoy all of the insanity. Sure, you can sometimes make out the public smiles vs. the sincere giggles and smirks, but does it matter? The boy doesn't quit, keeps on truckin', giving of himself whenever asked, amazing... sometimes scary. I might worry that he'd lose himself in public!Elijah, but he's been in this business, well since forever for him, he prolly doesn't know anything different, and he seems pretty solid. Man, when I start typing I just get all off topic... back to the commentary, so very glad all 4 hobbits were together (though I think it made sense to split them for ttt, since they were literally split up in the film); bummer still no Viggo, maybe for RotK (since he is said king *hopes*); felt for JRD, being insecure and isolating himself, but loved Dom's Indi references, lol; Orlando's lembas commercial had me giggling; and lastly, not commentary related, but god, LOVE Cate, her Galadriel is just perfection. And very interesting to see Viggo's early scenes, esp at the inn, his accent isn't quite there yet, it's close, but still has a little more Viggo and a little less Aragorn, at least compared to ttt and rotk. Hmph, this was supposed to be a quick post, not such a novel.
