ridiculous but true
Oct. 27th, 2008 03:38 pm* i both love & hate that frankie immediately knew that gerard would be gloomy bear. that if he was a care bear, he'd have a storm cloud on his tummy.
love: he knows him so well. didn't even have to really think about it.
hate: he's gloomy bear. that means he's gloomy a lot. it's not hard to believe, but i think if the question was posed to any of us fans, we would say his care bear tummy would display a feather boa! a rainbow! a rainbow CUPCAKE! or maybe a day of the dead skull! something with ZOMBIES. something totally awesome, totally dramatic, something with ~~FLAIR~~. :D
but it's not. it's a storm cloud. because he's so often gloomy. and frank knew that. ;___;
* i love that andy hurley was at comic-con. it's important to me (however ridiculous that is) that they're all still friends. but mostly? it's bc my first thought was yay, they're still friends. where THEY = mikey & pete. andy's presence obviously doesn't ensure that, but... i like to think it does. ♥
* i love that frank iero is the type of guy to defend his friends to death. the death of your FACE if need be. he may be tiny, but god-fucking-damnit, he's SCRAPPY and he will END YOU.
relatedly, i love that ray toro is the type of guy to hold him back. not because he gives two shits about some asshole's face, but because he doesn't want his friend to wind up in jail. BC FRANK WILL SRSLY END YOU. ray's protective of the ones he loves. just in a different way.
* i can't help but wonder why there aren't more photos of the mcr wives together. hanging out. behind the scenes or whathaveyou. i hope it's just circumstance and there isn't some greater meaning or ~dramalama~ behind it. but i worry (however ridiculous that is).
* when i listen to 'folkin' around' i hear a big gay love song to ryan ross. i wonder what ryan hears...
* sometimes i get so caught up in otp adoration that i have to stop and remind myself that it's (in all probability) just pretend. but then i remember that unlike with lotrips, frank and gerard HAVE ACTUALLY KISSED AND GROPED EACH OTHER. IN PUBLIC. IT'S CANON. gerard has made comments about sucking dick. they've referred to themselves as fags or faggots before. now... they still may not have messed around beyond what we've seen on stage, but... at this point, does it matter? there's so much good stuff here. ♥
