oh, old skool crackfic lotrips_finders, you make me laugh.

It was a viggorli I think where Orlando was a disabled orphan and Viggo was a vampire who would visit him. Orlando got badly burned in a fire, so Viggo gave him some of his blood to heal him. I think he then took Orlando in, Orlando was able to walk again and became a dancer.

speaking of orlando... i have a few thoughts on this set of photos. one, i hate the fucking paparazzi. two, orlando's wearing a grandpa sweater <3. three, he's still wearing trinkets around his neck (though they appear to be different ones... out with the old, in with the new, perhaps). four, i... have no strong feelings for miranda kerr, aside from extreme indifference. i think it's because i just know nothing about her, except that she's a model and is dating mister bloom. (and that he never looks terribly happy around her, but that's likely more to do with the fucking paparazzi as mentioned in number one above, and less to do with her. i assume, anyhow.) but what i can tell you, what i do know, is that I WANT HER BAG.

in news not orlandish, apparently complaining about my back yesterday was the key to it healing! this morning i woke up to find the knife extracted, and the steady firm press of thumbs in its place. still a solid ache, but it's progress and i'll take it. also, i have a pumpkin spice latte, so you know, THAT HELPS.

and sadly i wasn't able to get my porn on last night - sitting at the computer kills my back - but i was able to find a semi-decent position to curl up with an actual book. i'm reading odd thomas by dean koontz and completely loving it. IT'S SUCH GOOD FUN. \o/ i'm only about 50 pages from the end. om nom koontz' brain.

Do you know that the only lotrips I've ever read was a DomLijah/Clyan crossover? It took place at an airport...there was a lollipop involved. That's all I remember.

I find the key to relieving pain is to tell someone! I told my chiropractor about my aching toe (dunno why really) and THAT DAY it stopped hurting.

well, they've been together for quite a while now, so... yay? ;) it just feels like ages since i've seen pictures of him smiling genuine smiles, where the joy is just BEAMING out of him. it's silly of me to think that he doesn't have these moments just because i don't see them. i mean, how joyful can one be with the obnoxious photographers stalking your every move. or at miscellaneous events, pausing and posing for the hum drum photo ops before you get on with your evening.

so yes, i'm sure he has gleeful moments. in private. as it should be. (but i'd still like to see them every now and again just to be sure, okay universe? waht.)

Lotrips_finders is the never ending Santa's bag of presents. And nine out of every ten gifts is Orlando having suffered some INCREDIBLE calamity and being saved and taught to LIVE AGAIN/thrive/be happy by Viggo. Some days I just scroll down and clap my hands in glee and OMG-ness. But that one? That's just like a Christmas cake of EVERYTHING @.@ about Viggo/Orlando fic. I'm just in awe.

and yes yes yes, everything you said about lotrips_finders. usually i just roll my eyes and move along, but sometimes these GEMS just pop up! and what's even scarier is when people reply with "OMG I LOVE THAT ONE!" and "sadly, the author never finished it. she only got up to part 73." AAAAAAAAHHHH /o\

i've occasionally thought of removing it from my flist bc i never use it for its intended purpose, but oh, the entertainment value, it is too great.

likewise, mcrficfinder is just as HORRIMUSING. the role of orlando bloom is now played by mikey way, as he is continually kidnapped and/or raped and/or maimed etcetc. his savior is most often his brother gerard. but then again, gerard is just as often his tormentor. hrmm.

those boots and those jeans, yes. they're... not as awful as they *could* be?? =\ mostly i just try to focus on the curls, and the crinkles around the eyes.
